WHAT IS IT?
Read Ready is a collaborative, community-wide early literacy initiative that unites families, schools, and local partners. We leverage a proven model of free digital tools and fun, real-world activities to ensure every child has the skills they need to become a confident reader, and a future leader.
HOW IT WORKS

Free Digital Tools
We put award-winning education directly into the hands of families—completely free. Through partners like Footsteps2Brilliance®, all residents in a Read Ready community get 24/7 access to thousands of interactive books, games, and songs.
Community-Wide Adventures
Learning should be an interactive and fun process! Wth this local, place-based city-led work, there are free and exciting learning activites happening all along our River Cities in NKY.
A Collaborative Network
We believe parents & caregivers are stronger together. The Read Ready Network is built on a foundation of collaboration, uniting and coordinating the efforts of schools, libraries, city leaders, and local non-profits. By breaking down silos and working toward a shared goal, we create a powerful support system that ensures every family has what they need to help their child succeed.
